Jon and Mike, if you're thinking of coming to a work session please do. Every time I attend a session I learn something. The work session are a great way to learn more about the history. Also, all of the team leaders are skilled craftsman with extensive knowledge. It's a great way to expand your skill level. One of the team leaders for this session has an extensive background in railroading. He stated on the DRGW during the Navajo lake relocation. Where else can you work with someone like that???
Also, on the Friend's Forum the photos are not compressed. We wanted detail to be available. Keep clicking and the photos will expand to their maximum size. Expand the photos of gondola 9558 in particular. The amount and detail of all of the bolts/woodworking is amazing. Or click on the photos taken from top of the snow shed by John Cole and expand those for an awesome view.
