This is a stabbing guess, but, they've been running Fireman's and Engineer's school this week.

I don't know if it's still going on, but, there's been unusual locomotive and train activity all week.

Plus a movie train, plus unscheduled double headers due to a caterpillar banzai attack.

Tuesday, I think, 4 steam locomotives were working the main line during the day.
