If you're planning to do "light" snow clearance, you'd better have some HEAVY railcars -
like McKeen cars, but with the pointy front extending almost to the rails - and MUCH more
powerful engines (like maybe a pair of K-36's behind)!!

See [ngdiscussion.net] et seq for pics of what conditions can be like on the C&TS, even as late as mid-May ...     eye popping smiley
