I've been living/working in Italy for the past two years and finally made it down to Napoli (Naples) to see their National Railway Museum. Mostly dedicated to standard gauge, but I did find one example (above) of narrow gauge steam. She's a husky looking little brute. I understand that there are a number of narrow gauge lines still operating, some with steam, but I have not yet visited any.
Its a magnificent museum located next to Italy's first railroad station in one of the first factories to build and maintain locomotives. The museum is well worth the trip if you get to Italy.
