Great story Charlie. When Dick Rutan and Jenna Yeager were getting ready to fly the Voyager aircraft around the world. They first flew a few days up and down the Calif. coast to check them and the airplane out. Bryant Gumble was the host of Good Morning America (I think) and was doing an interview on TV from New York to them in Calif. (4 time zones later). When Bryant ask Dick how it looked outside, Dick replied that "it is blacker than the inside of a cow right now". It must have tinkled Bryant's funnybone, as the more he thought about Dick's reply the harder he laughed. He finally fell off the couch onto the floor of the set on live TV, and his co-host had to take over until the commercial break. Now, thats dark too!
