The hand of God seems to be at work in moving CCC passenger cars again as I can't see where the cars get to Montrose during the previous week (Unless they are storing passenger cars in Montrose for CCC specials?). The CCC car numbers that move from Salida - Gunnison on Saturday January 18 I was assuming would continue on to Montrose but now I see these are different #'s moving Montrose to Ridgway. Also do these 3 cars, 297, 283, 301 that are left in Ridgway continue on to the RGS? Thanks.

My thought is the CCC out of Montrose was a connection from the standard gauge. If I get a chance I will take a look at that.
Since extra 361 returned to Gunnison with caboose only it appears the train was turned over to the RGS at Ridgway.
