When the Rocky club first got #20 they lettered it for the F&CC with the name Portland. With a black jacket. After 20 was in Golden a few years the Club relettered it with the RGS sunburst herald and the number 20. I understand this did not sit well with the Museum management. Back. over 20 years ago, I helped reletter 20 after sandblasting the tender. Helping with that relettering were some oldtimers, "Oley" Larsen and Roy Altenbach. (I hope I got Roy's name right.) Remember, the Rocky Mountain RR Club owned No.20 until 2004 and then deeded it to the Museum along with RGS Rico and D&RGW caboose 0578.
