glad the photos were helpful to you.

the hinges were no doubt a bulk order either made by the railroad or bought from a vendor. the cars went through a major rebuild in the 1920's so the carmen would have needed a number of hinges.

the hinges that were still on the car and that we reinstalled were made of a much heavier grade of steel than the ones we were able to buy to replace the missing hinges. we tried to match them as close as possible.
