Don's experimenting. The website's intermittant slowness is related to us running up against CPU limits on the server. Basically we're a victim of NGDF's success and limited budget. I suggested we consider moving the thread view to a flat model to try reducing the number of page loads, but Don looks to be trying it one step further - flat at every level.
