Dave and Ed,
Thanks for the picture Dave, I haven't seen that one before. Part of the problem I seem to have in researching the car is that it is physically different looking than the S2 in the picture, which seems to be a more common model on the Grande. I will look tonight for the pictures I have of the car before it was disassembled further for shipment a few years back. While there is definite evidence on the car of its modifications and dents and dings over the years, it'd be helpful to see what the car looked like in the 60's and even the 70's. I currently don't have any hard evidence of what modifications occurred while on the Grande and which were made while on the D&S. The car framing looks different enough from stock ST2 photographs in Fairmont manuals that I wonder if it was custom ordered from Fairmont looking a lot like it sits now or if it was significantly modified later. What I do know is that most of the framing still has orange paint on it, which was a color the Grande used on MOW equipment I've seen in old pictures before the Grande Gold or yellow came along. Whether or not I can restore it to that color will depend on what research shows as far as when particular modifications were done. Again, I'll try to get a picture or two up soon!!
