The locomotice is a postwar Baldwin, the 195. I was told that she had been freshly shopped in 1971. I can narrow the location down a little more...it was between Agua Caliente @ Mile 176 and Chile @ Mile 164.7.
Miles start @ Barrios with Zacapa being 103.0 and Guatemala City being Mile 197.4.

John, I believe that your slide was taken late that year as I saw her too looking just as you did when I rode Krupp 174 on the mixed local in late November, my first trip. Quite sobering when you are firing to have an engineman point it out as you pass by.
