Seeing this huge snow plow got me to wondering whether plowing snow in this fashion caused any premature and unexpected failures of the pony truck. The extra weight of the plow would be a factor, but the increased force in a downward direction due to the snow flowing against the plow blade would be pretty significant. Someone more fluent in physics could figure the vector forces involved that would increase the axle loading quite considerably.
