Re: Worcester & Shrewsbury RR locomotives

I recall seeing a photo of a W&S 2-4-4RT (Forney) with a steel cab in a book of Massachusetts Railroads. Sadly, this was 3 decades ago and I did not even own the book.

I was thinking that a very similar locomotive ran on the Nantucket RR - and one did - but my reference books indicate that the locomotive was not from the W&S. Still, the nagging memory persists that at least one of the W&S locos was sold to another northeastern RR (possibly the Chateaugay RR), but I can find no corroboration for this belief.

I did confirm that a coach and combine from the W&S was sold to the Catskill & Tannersville RR.and these cars are well-documented photographically. Like the locos, I seem to recall other coaches were sold offline, but the corroboration is likewise lacking.
