I agree. With all of the great topics discussed here I always read ALL of the Jimmy lists! They are important for all different kinds of reasons but I use them for my modeling efforts. I participate in several 'operations' groups where we try and simulate what the real railroads do/did. In the case of narrow gauge operations Jimmy is my main source of documented car movements. On the project layout I'm working on now we are designing the yards and car selection to match the summer of 1940 Chama to Antonito trackage and car movements. We certainly can't handle 150 or more cars but we know what the ratios of different types of cars are from Jimmy's car movements and then we apply those ratios to the total model track capacity. So yes I appreciate the great work Jimmy does and the valuable information he mines out of the mounds of dusty paperwork. Thanks Jimmy! I really do appreciate it! Russ
