According to CRA #24 Silvertn Mixed ran:
up to June 1932 - Daily except Sunday.
June 1932-January 1939 Tue, Thur, Sat. (pg 155, authorized 6/15/33)
January 1939-1947 Tue, Sat. (pg 173, authorized 1/25/39)
Starting 6/24/47 the Silverton started running Tue, Thur, Sat for the summer season, back to Tue, Sat in the Fall (pg 192)
1948: Thur only in TT of 2/1/48. Tue, Thur, Sat for summer. Tue, Sat in Fall. (pg 193)
1949: Winter Wed. Summer Tue & Sat. Fall Thur. (pgs 196, 199)
1950:Winter, Spring, Fall Wed. Summer Sun, Wed, Fri. (pg 200)[1]
1951: same as 1950 (pg 208)
1952: same as 1950
1953: April 2nd regular service ends, summer same (6/14-9/13) Silver Vista destroyed in November.
1954: Summer same (6/13-9/12) Alamosa(still a Parlor) added to service. From July 15th Thur train added. From August 2nd Monday train added. (pg214)
1955: Sun, Wed, Fri 6/12-7/1 & 9/7-9/18, Daily 7/3-9/5. Caboose dropped, ex San Juan cars painted Grande Gold.
1956: same sched, slightly different dates
1957: ditto '56. Alamosa to coach 350, ex-San Juan coaches rebuilt with ex-DT seats.
1958 ditto '56
1959 Daily 6/12-9/7, Sun, Wed, Fri until 9/25 (1955-59 pg 217)
1960,'61 & '62: ditto '59.
1963: ditto '59 BUT add 2nd section in July 6th (daily after 7/20). Add coaches 330, 331, obs 400, 401. B-7 to Grande Gold, Bag 126 to snack bar. Start of Rio Grande Land.
1964-80: Daily early June to early October, 2nd section as required (pretty much daily mid-June thru August)
Notes:
1966: Alva Lyons retires.
1970: Labor Day Flood

Rolling stock:
1964: add coaches 332-337, comb 212 to snack bar, boxes 3219 & 3468 painted Grande Gold.
1965: add ob 402.
1967: add obs 403-405. Retire coaches 284, 306, 320
Late 1970's: Several wood cars resided in steel, 212 & 126 rebuilt to coach sides.


I don't think the mixed designation was ever dropped while the D&RGW was still running it. The Grande had a couple of 3000 series boxes they painted Grand Gold & Silver that hauled any freight on the train and I know one of them was in the consist going up the last time I rode it under the Grande (1978)
