While the people chant "ooOOoom", I presume [sick], and the cows chant "MooOOoo"

Is the SL&RG going to continue to run #18 to Antonito one day per week? (IIRC this is usually on Wednesday.) If so, perhaps a shorter run from Antonito - say just to Big Horn, where the train can easily be turned - should be coordinated to take advantage of this, and a joint marketing effort be made in Alamosa to attract as many riders as possible.
OTOH, perhaps we older cantankerous types should pool our resources to obtain a franchise from Georgiana Condi-Google-Eyes and build a small Recreation Center for Senior Curmudgeons in the middle of the wye at Big Horn. Since there will apparently not be any trains running all the way to Osier on Sundays (except at the very end of the season), Stephen's nieces Grünehilde and Grünehäntel - who are already experienced physical therapists, BTW - should be available to work that one afternoon each week.
