Conductor E P Mahoney died November 30, 1940, at the Rio Grande hospital in Salida from complications following an operation. He came to Colorado in 1891 and went to school in Sapinero. He started work with the D&RG in 1898 as brakeman, promoted to Conductor in February 1910.
