It took me 25 $#@! years to get my sorry butt back to Colorado this summer, and guess what decides to happen? Not being swayed by moronic comments like those from the Gov. I proceeded with my plans, knowing I might not get a lot of bang for my travel buck. Got to ride the loop, see/photograph all the South Park locomotives and go to Chama and Durango, but no trains were moving. Five days after I was gone, they were under steam again! Go figger! This whole mess has been a fiasco, and I speak as a guy about 5 grand lighter in the wallet for my efforts. Still, it was great to be back. Sure wish I could have seen the whole show. Nice work, politicos!
