I-70

One of the things that really surprised me was the shots though the I-70 bridge over the railroad. I-70? Steam in regular service? Okay, it computes, but is sure shows how late in the game C&S was running steam.
The C&S power is very C&S looking....hard to miss. Some might call it ugly....I would say more bulldog brutish, at least the 900's. And that pacific. I almost got there in time, but not quite. At least I caught the last of it at Leadville.....and only this year did I finally visit that legendary place that I heard so much about back in the late 50's....Chugwater.
