No longer employed by the RR?
Well, I can sort of identify with that!
Roger, continue to stand tall and be proud of the work product you provided while working for the RR operators. Sam Furukawa set the gold standard for still photo captures of the railroad, and you have equalled his quality with your video documentation. Please accept my comparison in context of being the highest compliment.
I am unaware of the intellectual property rights to your videos, but if you hold ownership please consider archiving your captures into a more permanent DVD production. Neither the railroad, you nor I will be around forever, but what is important is that historians and railfans in the generations to come have access to the your great RR operational footage.
Since you still have the cameras, aren't there still some wildlife
photography opportunities out there? Some of us suffered some withdrawal symptoms when you focused mostly on K-36's to the expense of the Chama area critters!
Thanks for all you have shared. john
