Kevin, the short answer to your question is: Money! Actually, we have discussed the possibility - my crews would love to try their hand running and firing her up Cumbres. Heck, we'd even let 463 be lead engine! Should be an interesting comparison between a superheated and a soak engine. Superheaters were removed in California, and we haven't found it necesarry to put them back in.
