I visited this railway in 1992 & had a nice ride with a steam 0-8-0 as power. The crew was doing a brisk business taking builder plates off of Czarist era freight stock & selling them for $10. I don't collect much hardware, but couldn't resist a plate featuring the Czarist eagle from 1898. Few from the group could resist & we caused quite a stir when our baggage was X-rayed at the airport leaving Moscow. Once customs saw what we had their attitude was "Why do you want that junk?" and waved us through.thumbs up
