RGRPC has written a letter to both the Rio Grande and Carson National Forests proposing to begin operations on the 16th. It was for the purpose of getting discussion going on a specific start date. Going forward on the 16th or any other date is still subject to concurrence from the Forest Service. I have not been informed of any response to the letters as yet.

The NGDF was started by Don Richter and is currently operated in his memory by Nathan Holmes and others.
