There are a couple options. I can still operate Eureka here in Nevada. Also, I have several miles of rail that I have wanted to construct, dedicated to Eureka's operation and any other narrow gauge locomotive that would like to run on it. That is a ways off, but hopefully it will get done one of these years.
I have not decided against doing the FRA inspection, but it is a LOT of
work. I am assessing the effort to do all of it to just run Eureka for a few days on an FRA road 600 miles from Nevada.
