Make sure you bring your down parka. The lowest temperature on record in Alamosa was -50 degrees (F) in 1948. The highest recorded temperature was only 96 degrees (F) in 1989. Heck, here in Boulder, Colorado, it was 99 degrees on Saturday and 96 degrees on Sunday! Alamosa is definitely not the tropics!
