A friend has an old boxcar Olathe, CO that she wants to restore but it needs all new siding because the previous owner was an artist that used the original for picture frames.
Questions. Where can one find car siding now days? The local Home Depot has 6" tongue and groove available but it is Aspin which I don’t think would be very good for exterior use. I believe most old cars used Fir - is this correct?. Is tongue and groove fir, or other suitable exterior wood, available?
Any ideas and/or comments would be appreciated
