Today this tangent of track with 346, 343 and consist is just south of the confluence of Bear Creek and the South Platte River and is the site of the Golden Tee Golf Course in Englewood, Colorado. When the C&S abandoned this section of track in 1955 the ROW became a easement for Public Cervice CO. of Colorado's high tension power lines towers.
Looking south above the site of the bridge across Bear Creek (not seen below the bottom of this view) and hole 9 part of the golf course's golf cart roadway uses a portion of the old South Park Line's grade (the roadway on the right). When the golf course was constructed, debris from the grade and subgrade like cinders, rocks, ties, metal and track fastenings were heaped in a pile which can be seen below between the 2 roadways. While I was investigating this area I had a fun time explaining to the groundskeeper why I was staring at the ground while trespasing across the club's grounds. I was then promptly escorted right off the property!
