I have to agree with N scale from a viewers stand point. It reminds me of flying across county in a small plane at low altitude, like about 1000 ft or less. But My fingers aren't small enough to easly maintain those dam small Nn3 mechanism's. I used to have a very large N scale layout 20 years ago. but I got interested in Narrow Gauge I and I figured that Hon3 was as about as small as I dare go.
One of my dad's old boss's at Boeing had a very large collection of TT at one time posible the largest collection in the Pacific Northwest if not the U.S.. I might have tryed TTn3 if it was around.
