The private collecting narrow gauge market (D&RGW) is non existent for caboose and passenger equipment. Be it restored or even in good condition.

(970) area code. I'm guessing you're in the general Durango vicinity. Not much available even locally. Maybe some freight cars, but not a caboose or passenger car.

It actually might be cheaper to build some from scratch. I don't mean 100% fully accurate down to the last detail, but a good representation would look fine. Trucks are going to be the most expensive parts.

Found out the phone number is Montrose. So maybe you'd prefer Rio Grande Southern (RGS) equipment. Which unfortunately is next to impossible to find for sale, even if just some scraps.

But if you really are committed to such a project, I'd check and see if a contractor/carpenter could make up some facsimiles of say an RGS short caboose and coach. Scale plans exist for most narrow gauge equipment. And they would look great if done well.
