Ha Ha. LOL. I got a good chuckle. (for this chuckle-headed fool pecking at the keyboard)

I was inquiring about the pistons in, the rods on, the valve gear mounted, springs adjusted, etc. etc. but not timed.

Knew of a guy that built an Allen Mogul and put the pegs under the deck of the locomotive. The first run, that engine took off for the corn field. We strapped a 2x4 to the bottom tender to finsh out the day. Not comfortable, but worked. My pegs are on the tender.
