There seems to be a considerable difference in attitude between officials near the D&S & the C&TS. Also the San Juan Forest Service doesn't seem to have as much power as the Carson & Rio Grande. So what do the Conejos and Rio Arriba Sheriffs have to say?
Now, do I want to see the D&S shut down like the C&TS? No.
Do I think that they both should be running trains right now? I don't know.
But, do I think that the Carson & Rio Grande bosses overstepped their authority? Yes!
