No need to appologize Mike. If everyone was only interested in the D&RGW this forum would be pretty boring. I am a logging railroad fan first and narrow gauge second, which is why I am particularly interested in the Sumpter Valley. Here you get both worlds. When I first saw that SVRR (as it was then) had a Heisler I was hooked, and when they said they needed operating crews you could not drive me away. That was in 1976 and and I have been involved ever since. But I still enjoy the historical photos and data on all narrow gauge railroads, even foreign ones, I am just not interested in the number of rivets or the size of the lettering. No ill will to those who are however.
