LOL! Yes indeed, the freshly graded ROW, brand new track and immaculate ballast from Gold Hill to Mound House definitely don't look like the V&T of old, but given the choice between a rail-trail with no rails and a working railroad, I suspect most of us are willing to put up with a little loss of authenticity to get the latter!
