First off, I am about to "spill" a lot of information in a short time. And, I may
or may not have been drinking at the time of this post.
It is known that 340 has the tender that was behind 318 before being sold to Knotts... And it is know that 346 had 318's tender until very recently at CRRM...
But, the tender currently behind 318 was behind 345 first:
1936 and 1937, the current 318 tender behind 345:

Sometime between 1941 and 1942, 340 swapped tenders with 345:

345 with original tender in 1941

340 with 345's tender 1942

345 with 340's tender 1943
Sometime between the year of 1951 and 1952, 318 and 340 swapped tenders, giving 318 the origional tender to 345, and 340 the tender from 318

318 with old tender 1951

318 with 345's tender 1952
So, currently, 318 Has 345's tender, and 340 has 318's tender, and 345 when wrecked for the movie Denver & Rio Grande, had 340's tender...
