Interesting article at 9News web site. Apparently
"Military leaders also ordered two Army battalions and a Marine battalion, totaling more than 1,500 soldiers, to be prepared to join the (Hayman) fight. Plus 4 aircraft modified for slurry bombing.
But the interagency fire people don't want this help. Read the quote at the end of the article.
