"Chama extra east with engines 464 and engine 487
Called as Big Horn turn, run through to Alamosa to protect 441
Conductor Roberts
Engine 464 Odgers
Engine 487 A S Johnson "

Interesting that dispite there being no more timetable freights out of Alamosa, the DS still refers to the somewhat "daily" westbound out of Alamosa as "441". Over the years I've heard other references as to a westbound out of Alamosa as "441 or even " '41".

Also

"Train No. 315 depart Salida 6:00 AM with 6 cars
128
158
60
129
302
Camp Bird
Salida to Marshall Pass 15 minutes account 6 cars
Arrive Marshall Pass 7:42 AM, run as 1st No. 315 Marshall Pass to Sargent
Depart Marshall Pass 7:44 AM
Arrive Gunnison 9:45 AM with 6 cars"

One assumes 472's crew hunted around in thier toolbox and produced a pair of green flags to fly for thier trip to Sargent.
