Interesting that 479 got in a Crested Butte turn (with a different engineer) while waiting to return to Salida with the passenger! That is full usage.

I had not thought about the fact that the upgraded trains are about to debut. That would mean that the cars have been clustered in Alamosa for upgrades, and a special train will make its way up the Valley Line for the Salida debut. I wonder if 473's trip to the shop is for steam lines?
