The Forest Service has not issued any further information or statements about the situation.
Local scuttlebutt is that the Attorneys General of BOTH states are looking into the entire matter, not only from the standpoint of FS jurisfiction but because the FS meeting was apparently held in violation of sunshine laws.
Local scuttlebutt says that the CTSRR may take legal action against the FS.
I estimate that the closure is costing the RGRPC around $20,000 a day.
Damage to future sales will increase geometrically every day that the railroad remains closed.
