Re: D&RGW Dates

1: The last revenue freight move was Aug 31, 1968 with #483 returning from Farmington to Carbon Jct. with 12 empty box, 16 mty flat, 2 open end gon to Carbon Jct. and the 12 empty box on into Durango. The Durango & Silverton NG RR had revenue W/B traffic to Tacoma later that this I believe.
#2 and #3 were together: Abandonment applied for Sept 18, 1967 doc. #24745. It was approved in Dec. 23, 1969 session of ICC, Effective Dec. 29, 1969 from Antonito to Farmington. By early January some rails were removed west of Antonito, to prevent use by unauthhorized parties.
Scrapping contract signed by Cole of Texas on Sept 17, 1970.
