The Rotary run of 1993 had 3 engines(Our Video was called "Tripleheader Rotary") We do not have it available any more, but from memory I want to say the three engines were 497, 488, and 487. Yes we did a charter afterwards, and the line was deemed unsafe to run over at stateline curve(below Cresco), so we ran several trips to there. The RR gave us a third engine, and 497 promptly went out of commission on a three engine train crossing Lobato Trestle. Thus for the rest of the first day and second day we had 487 and 488.
