Timetable for 1951 shows Buxton siding capable of holding 43 cars.
I agree, there seems to be an awful lot of cars set out between Marshal Pass and Sargent. Sometimes set outs were done at Chester, however on this date, Dec 11, a meet involving No. 315 occured at Chester. Of course, in some cases that does not preclude a meet possibility.

On Dec 12 extra 495 west makes a pick up of empties east of Sargent, not shown where.

Also, on Dec 12 there were 101 loads at Sargent and 33 at Buxton ready to move east.
