Dorko,
I remember the CRRM volunteers would sneak out at night and change color schemes on the Rocky Club's equipment. I wore two hats at that time, CRRM volunteer and Rocky Club equipment chair. Despite that, I had no hand in painting 20 that bile green shade. I remember Bill Gordon ( The RMRRC secretary) telling me the 20 was lettered F&CC and Portland. Uncle Bob looked the other way and the 20 was painted with the sunburst RGS herald. No harm done. If the right shade had been found it would have looked OK. Seriously, the CRRM is the new owner and when we get it back and operating, it doesn't matter what color the jacket is. If you remember, we had the steam dome opened up on 20, you crawled inside the boiler and I tried to put the cover back on while you were in there. Bob made me stop. We did agree it would be great to see her run again.
You have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
