It will probably be early May before we can run any ballast trains, since first we have to get one of the locomotives out of the shop. And our first priority is to get as much loco work done as possible before the season starts. The acquistion of EBT hoppers for ballast is proceeding, but will probably take several months to get them moved and rehabilitated. In the interim we will use the two converted standard gauge cars that have been around for several years. We are also working to get the problems with the 19 diagnosed and fixed, since it is the preferred power for ballast trains.
