David, great editing and composition. Logging railroad? Tourist Railroad? Naw, it is simply Cass. Unique and always inviting, but like Chama, darn hard to get to!
One of the highlights for any steam fan is the water stop on the mountain where the tenders are draft filled from the cistern tanks, in contrast to the typical gravity downspout.
Your postings compelled me to sort thru some of my old photo captures.
Sure makes one want to hitch the ole' mule to the wagon and head toward West Virginia!
