Hello, All -
First of all, I'm sure Jackelopette will correct the undoubtedly faulty Latin grammar in my Subject line.
But primarily, here's an example of how far from the original post the topic of a thread can inadvertently stray — or be deliberately hijacked.
As John West, myself, and others have frustratingly(?) posted more than once, things DO tend to drift
. . .
(The funny thing here is that two of us notorious NGDF Curmudgeons – JBWX and myself – are at least as guilty, if not more so, than any of the others contributing drift to this particular thread.)
At least the subject line was changed a dozen or more posts ago to reflect the change of focus from photos of snow fighting in 1973 to the desirability / practicality of setting up interpretive displays including said photos – and at least a few posts prior to Cole and I exchanging what probably should have been private messages – and now we're talking about #476 and the lack of photos thereof among / within John West's outstanding photos of the last 40+ years of the Narrow Gauge from Alamosa to Durango, Silverton and Farmington
. . .
So where should this series of posts have been broken off, and a new topic started?
Gentlemen, Start your Engines
