Vendor heads up

I hesitate to post this, but I'd feel bad if anyone got taken, and I hadn't.
There is a bit of a flap on the Steam in the Garden board about a gauge 1 vendor taking orders (with a $400 deposit) for a live steam version of Accucraft's GS-3 Daylight. Word is, from Accucraft, that they do NOT have any plans to produce this particular engine in live steam (at least not in the near future, a pity).
This vendor also is said to often use a rather deceptive practice of adding on "factory shipping" on top of their advertised price (you are in effect charged twice for shipping, once for them to you, and again for the factory to them. This is so that they can advertise an artificially low sale price).
There also have been various reports of, shall we say, less that stellar customer service on questions, and damaged items.
Take this all for what it is worth. The vendor in question is called St. Aubin's Station in Ill. I won't advise you to use them or not, but am just posting this as "hearsay" for your edification.
I've included a link to the relevant string.
