Commission Discussion of Lobato Contracts

The C&TSRR Commission discussed the awarding of contracts for rebuilding Lobato trestle in Agenda 13a. This can be viewed in clips 19 (Part 1) and 20 (Part 2).

This discussion is interesting in that the initial low-bid contract was bid at about $622K, but did not have any guaranteed delivery time. The Commission instructed the Executive Director that liquidated damages for missed delivery time was mandatory. (LOL- see what everyone missed by not going to the meeting?!)
