Lobato Trestle Update

As the New Year ushers in we wanted to pass along some news about Lobato Trestle. Stinger Welding of Coolidge, Arizona has been awarded the bid to fabricate the steel deck girders at a cost of $674,112. They have committed to delivery of the girders by April 6, 2011.

As of December 31, 2010 the Lobato Trestle Fund has $116,877 in contributions which includes $20,000 the Friends committed from its Another Century of Narrow Gauge Steam II campaign. Checks do continue to come in and we appreciate everyone who has donated to this initiative.
