Well said Charlie!

Donating a little money or time to one or more of these locomotives would be greatly appreciated by the organizations that take care of them.
Im sure most of us would donate a large amount of money to the cause if we could spare it. But most of us don't have a pile of cash lying around,

So the next best thing like you said is to donate some time, or a small amount of money, or buy something from the group. IE a book, t-shirt, coffee cup, or what ever.

Every little dollar helps!

Who knows what the future holds for F&CC 10/E&N 12. If Dan thinks he will get her fired up and steaming than I bet it will happen.(and if so then maybe he can bring it to Durango, or Chama.) And if all the loco gets is a good cosmetic restoration, and is put on display. Then at least its not another sad looking engine, rotting away in a park with no hope of ever looking like the proud locomotive that it once was.

In the long run what ever is done with the loco, does it really matter what it says on the side of the cab, or tender? I think not. As long as the loco is preserved, and taken care of so we can enjoy it for years to come, that's what matters most.
