More pics. I hope yous guys are enjoying this. These pictures do not do the car justice, the car more beautiful in person. If any of you get the chance to come to Knott's you can ask the engine crew if you can see the inside of the inside of the EDNA. If there is an extra person on staff sometimes we can take guest's on a tour.
Now for the kitchen.
Here is the view of the kitchen standing next to the wash bin.
Here is the coal fired stove/range.
Next to the stove is one of two pantry's. Below the Pantry is a pocket for storing coal to fire the stove, below that is a little door that opens to a shoot to dump clinkers, or whatever onto the tracks. You can also see the baker heater. Next to the baker heater is a coal hopper that is loaded though a hatch on the roof outside the car. We also have the scoop.
The Baker steam heater.
This is a veiw of the A end door. note the axe, and sledge hammer above the door.
This is the access door to the ice box. Note the dump valve, and storage cabinets. This car has more storage room than a small apartment.
Below the area of the last photo we find two storage areas, one has a cushion for I guess the servant to sit on, and the other holds the three tables that attach to the walls in any of the room in the car.
And last directly across from the stove we see the counter top for preparing food. There is also a sink, and upper birth for the servant, and even more storage cabinets, drawers, and a slide out cutting board.
